Flynn is an author and a contributing writer for such publications as the Los Angeles Times, Foreign Policy, the Boston Globe, the Los Angeles Review of Books, Literary Hub, the Irish Times, Nautilus Magazine, Tech Policy Press, HuffPostGlobal Citizen, The Next WebDarling MagazineCaring Magazine, Thrive Global, and Dame Traveler, and writes forewords, essays, academic journal articles, op-eds, and guest pieces for publications worldwide.

She is the author of the book A Human Algorithm, a groundbreaking narrative on the urgency of humanely designed AI and a guidebook to reimagining life in the era of intelligent technology.

In addition to holding a BSFS from Georgetown University, a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law, and an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science, Flynn has also studied French history, literature, and philosophy at the Sorbonne; Shakespearean literature and creative writing at the University of Cambridge; Irish Literature, Culture, and Politics at Trinity College Dublin; Anthropological Philosophy, Bioethics, and Biography at La Universidad de Chile; Law and Culture at Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar, Senegal; and French literature at Université de Genève.

Flynn has taught storytelling and creative writing around the world. Her work has been translated into various languages and appears in educational textbooks, international campaigns, history classrooms, and in digital, audio, and print publications globally.
